The medical service of the Al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad holds a course about how to deal with the chemical attacks..

Within the framework of the preparations for the coming future duties, the medical service of the Al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad has held a course abou the ways of dealing with chemical weapons attacks, the ways of prevention and the special first aid.
The course was in the form of a set of theoretical lessons about how to diagnose and knowledge of the chemical attack, to asses its seriousness extent, the size of the resulting pollution and the ways to prevent its effect or to reduce the size of infection, and the methods of prevention and evacuation of the injured and how to provide first aid, in addition to other lessons in how to wear the equipment for such attacks, from clothing and protection masks and the use of special protective equipment that are only provided by the medical service of the Al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad.
The session program included: the definition of the chemical attack, acknowledging it by the senses and especially sight, how to prevent them, safe and hazardous zones, then there was a practical program including how to wear protective equipment of chemical pollution in the attacks, how to wash the injured and finally, hot to aid the injured by the chemical attack.
The medical coach in the medical service of the Al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad; Hani Abd Jabbar explained: "The lessons that have been given to the Mujahideen are theoretical lectures to acknowledge them abou the chemical attacks and its types, and also practical lessons in how to use the special uniform of chemical attacks that were processed by the Al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad, how the evacuation and first aid are done."
As for the medical coach Qasim Karim Abbas, he added: "This course is a continuation of previous sessions held by the medical service of the Al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad in this field, especially after that the enemy repeated the use of chemicals in its attacks on the fighting troops, most importantly the attacks using chlorine gas. Therefore, to prevent such attacks and minimize losses in the ranks of our fighters, the medical service of the Al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad has provided a range of special equipment for the safety from these kind of attacks."
