The holy city of Karbala shines with the lights of Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) and receives the crowds of the visitors..

Tens of thousands of visitors have filled the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) to benefit from the spirituality of this pure source, especially with the sunny and mild climate and the schools' holidays of half term (spring break), which enabled the families to come for the Ziyarat of the holy shrines.
The visitors are coming from Iraq and abroad, with different nationalities due to the stability of the security situation in the central and southern cities, specifically in the holy places, thanks to the efforts of the security forces and the heroes from the popular mobilization, who continue vigorously day and night to defend the honor of the homeland and the holy places.
The servants of the two holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) went on alert to overcome all the difficulties that the visitors may encounter either in their movement or while performing their worship and rituals. The service processions were also deployed on the roads and alleys leading to the two holy shrine to provide various services to the visitors.
Many narrations urged on the importance of the Ziyarat of Imam Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), including: Abdullah Al-Tahhan narrated that he heard Abi Abdillah As-Sadeq (peace be upon him) saying: "None will be on the Day of Judgment except that he would wish to have been a visitor of Imam Al-Hussayn, for the Almighty's blessings seen on the visitors of Al-Hussayn (peace be upon him)."
