Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine receives a medical delegation from United States and Canada

Within the continuous visits to the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine by the various delegations and personalities, a delegation of doctors from the United States and Canada had the honour to visit the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The delegation was received in the hall of honours at the holy shrine by the member of its Board of Directors; Engineer Ja'far Said Ja'far, who has welcomed them stressing that the treatment services that they are providing to patients are inspired from their human and moral message, which is stressed by the Almighty Allah and the Prophet of mercy Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household).

This visit is to discuss channels of joint work between them and the Management of Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital to provide them with various medical specialities as requested by the hospital administration.

The delegation coordinator; Sheikh Mohamad Jawad Salami, the Director of Al-Kafeel Centre of International Relations at the holy shrine has explained for his part: "This delegation consists of a number of doctors specialists in Cardiology, Otorhinolaryngology, Orthopaedic, and a rare speciality in electro-cardiology [cardiac electrophysiology] and other specialities. This delegation visit came after the presence of a delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in the medical conference held by the Imami World Medical Organization in the city of Orlando, Florida in United States last August."

He added: "The meeting was held on the side-lines of the conference with the members of the Imami Medical Organization in their office in the New Jersey and was attended by Dr. Arshad Qayumi and Dr. Wajih Radawi the supervisors of this world organization. They have agreed with them and with another group of doctors who did not attend the conference so they come to Karbala in form of organized groups to work in Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital of the holy shrine. And this is the first delegation, and God willing other delegations will follow."
