The centre of Quran sciences, interpretation and is printing at the Institute of the Holy Quran of the Department of Islamic and human knowledge affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, has held a scientific conference in collaboration with the Faculty of Islamic studies at Karbala University, for the introduction of the methodology of Thaqalayn [the both weights: Quran and Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them)] and the competition for the best author about the Holy Quran on the Thaqalayn methodology launched by the centre.
The conference, which was presented by the Centre's director Sheikh Dea'Uddin Al-Zubaidi, had a significant presence of the professors, researchers and the students, and it was overwhelmed by the discussion of new and authentic ideas and visions, and sheikh Al-Zubaidi has introduced a set of the Quranic publications of the centre. And at the side-lines of the conference, a meeting was held including the Dean of the Islamic studies Faculty, the head of the Department of Quran sciences, the head of Fiqh department, the director of the centre of Quran sciences, interpretation and printing of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in addition to the accompanying delegation. During this meeting, were discussed the ways to open up the prospect of Quranic cooperation in the service of the scientific motion in the Iraqi universities including Karbala university. And at the end of this meeting, Prof. Dr. Hashem Naser Al-Ka'bi has presented a request to provide the faculty with publications and books of the Centre of Quran sciences, interpretation and printing, to take benefit from them as curricula in the various educational stages. Noting that the universities of Basra and Dhi Qar have previously made the same request.
It is noteworthy that the centre has many distinct Quranic projects, most importantly the printing of the first Quran in Iraq with pure Iraqi efforts at all levels, also the project of the speaking pen with the Holy Quran and its interpretation, the project of the Encyclopaedia of the Quranic readings with several parts issued up to now, in addition to the books of "the teacher's guide" and "the learner's guide" and many other publications.
