The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine honors a number of martyrs' families and confirms that all that is presented to them does not worth even one drop of their blood that they have sacrificed for the sake of Iraq.

The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has confirmed that all that is presented to the martyrs' families does not worth even one drop of their blood that they have sacrificed for the sake of Iraq, and what is offered to their families is nothing when compared to their enormous sacrifices for the victory of the religion and in response to the fatwa of the supreme authority, as they have stood u as a bulwark in the face of the of terrorist gangs, and they are the pride of Iraq. These were the words of the head of the delegation of the holy shrine; Sheikh Majid Al-Sultani when honoring a group of the martyrs' families in the Shomali district in the province of Babylon.

He added: "This tribute comes is part of the humanitarian and noble positions of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, that is believing in the need to communicate with the members of the Iraqi society and in particular the families of those who answered the call of the supreme religious authority and sacrificed their blood for the defence of the land, honor and sanctities. and this is a part of the plan developed by the Department of religious Affairs at the holy shrine to visit and honor the martyrs' families regardless of their religious affiliations, and it is continuing this project, which has started since to first moment of the launch of the Fatwa of the Jihad sufficient duty for the defense of Iraq and its sanctities."

Sheikh al-Sultani has explained: "This honoring visit in the Shomali district in the province of Babylon has included 14 martyrs' families of the popular mobilization, in an honoring ceremony held in one of the mosques of the city in cooperation with the foundation of Imam al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him)."

He continued: "The area of Shumali has given a large number of martyrs that have reached more than a 100 martyrs, most of which are from the martyrs of the Federal Police, therefore we will have further visits in order to pay the tribute to the rest of families. And we have shown to the martyrs' families that this gift is presented from the donations boxes of the popular mobilization scattered in the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and it does not represent a big thing in front of the sacrifices of their children, and we have also explained to them how this gift is divided among the family members."

For their part, the martyrs' families have praised this initiative that will encourage them to continue the tender and the fight until the elimination of the terrorist ISIL gangs’ organization and cleansing all the land of Iraq from their filth.

It is note that on the basis of the directives of the supreme religious authority to provide the necessary support to the families of the martyrs and the wounded, the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has prepared an integrated program including the organization of successive visits to the wounded and the martyrs' families in all part of Iraq without exception, in order to communicate with them and fill their needs and honoring them in a way that is worthy of the sacrifices of their children. And these visits are continuous until visiting all families of the martyrs who are martyred after the launch of the Fatwa of Jihad sufficient duty.
