The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine continues its supporting and communicative programs with the martyrs' families and the wounded of the popular mobilization forces.

Since the first moments of the launch of the Fatwa of the Jihad sufficient duty for the defense of Iraq and its sanctities, the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine undertook many tasks to support the fighters, either when they are in the battlefields or through the communication with the martyrs' families and the wounded, in compliance with the recommendations and directives of the Supreme religious authority stressing and urging on sustaining the battlefield momentum and to support morally and materially the fighters in the war arena against the terrorist ISIL gangs. The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has executed a number of the communicative programs to support the martyrs' families and the wounded of the popular mobilization forces regardless of their religious affiliations. Among these programs is the step taken by the Department pf public relations in cooperation with the Department of religious affairs and the Department of intellectual and cultural affairs, through providing in-kind aids and blessing gifts to the martyrs' families and the wounded of the popular mobilization forces according to a space and time schedule prepared by the department in collaboration with the agents of the supreme religious authority in those areas.

And to know more about this communicative program, we have met with the member of the visiting delegation; Mr. Rasool Naji from the Department of Public Relations at the holy shrine, who explained: "This program is carried out by the blessing of the high Responsible of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine Sayed Ahmed Al-Safi, and it was prepared in order to contribute in providing the support and service to the families of those who answered the call of the supreme religious authority and sacrificed their blood for the defence of the land, honor and sanctities, through meeting their families and providing them with in-kind aids and blessing gifts from the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), which does not represent a big thing in front of the sacrifices of their children. The holy shrine works continuously to develop this program that makes the martyrs' families feel the existence of those who care for them and appreciate the achievements and victories achieved thanks to the blood of their children. Our tour has included the province of Basra, where the aids were distributed to 300 families of the martyrs and wounded in the district of Madinah, district of Qarnah, district of Abi Khaseeb, area of Bushawi and the area of Huwayr."

Sheikh Adel Al-Wakeel the deputy head of the department of religious affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, who headed the delegation, has explained the Al-Kafeel Network: "The delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has headed to present some symbolic aids and gifts to the martyrs' families, as all that is provided to them would never be equal to their sacrifices for the sake of the safety and security of the homeland, its people and sanctities. And we have found them honored and proud for their sacrifice, but they need continuous care and attention."

For their part, the wounded and martyrs' families have praised this initiative that will encourage them to continue the tender and the fight until the elimination of the terrorist ISIL gangs’ organization and cleansing all the land of Iraq from their filth. And they have expressed their gratitude to the Al-Abbas' (p) holy shrine for bearing the journey to bring them assistance."

It is note that on the basis of the directives of the supreme religious authority to provide the necessary support to the families of the martyrs and the wounded, the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has prepared an integrated program including the organization of successive visits to the wounded and the martyrs' families in all part of Iraq without exception, in order to communicate with them and fill their needs and honoring them in a way that is worthy of the sacrifices of their children. And these visits are continuous until visiting all families of the martyrs who are martyred after the launch of the Fatwa of Jihad sufficient duty.
