A delegation of the Holy Shrine headed by His Eminence Sayed Al-Safi, attends a memorial service of ninth Brigade's Martyrs.

A high-level delegation of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine headed by its High Responsible, as well as its Secretary-General, his deputy and a large number of board members and heads of departments and some associates, has attended a memorial service held for ten martyrs of the ninth Brigade/ popular mobilization / Badr organization, who were recently martyred in Door District in Tikrit after being attacked by the terrorist ISIL gangs.

Eight of the martyrs are from the holy city of Karbala, in addition to two martyrs from Door District, all were martyred on February 17, 2017.

The memorial service was held in the holy city of Karbala in the area of al-Hurr al-Riyahi (peace be upon him) / Mosque of Imam Ali al-Hadi (peace be upon him), and was attended by the martyrs' families along with the people of Karbala and fighters of the popular mobilization.

His Eminence Sayed al-Safi and his accompanying delegation have offered the condolences to the martyrs' families, and has stressed that the martyrs' shed blood will liberate Iraq from the terrorism and will restore the right to its people. And thanks to them we can see the signs of victory, stressing that the supreme religious authority in Najaf continues on emphasizing on the support and visiting the families of the martyrs and the wounded as they have the great credit on all Iraqis.
