The holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) sent a delegation to check on the health of the Algerian journalist "Samira Mouaki"

The holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) sent a delegation to visit the Algerian journalist "Samira Mouaki" lying at the Medical City in Baghdad, after she suffered a head injury while participating in the coverage of the battles of the popular mobilization and security forces in the west of Tal afar, in order to check on her health and know her needs, in appreciation of her sacrifice and courage to document the truth about the victories of the Iraqi security forces in their fight against the terrorist ISIL gangs.

The head of Media Division at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and a member of the visiting delegation Mr. Ali al-Khabbaz has explained to Al-Kafeel Network: "Under the guidance of the Secretariats General of the holy shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), the delegation went to visit the Algerian journalist "Samira Mouaki" to check on her health, in appreciation of her courage and sacrifice through which she has challenged all the risks, to stand with her brothers in the army and the popular mobilization, to document their victories and their military and humanitarian sacrifices, and to report the true image that has been hidden by many Media agencies, and that is why the journalist Mouaki was threatened by terrorist factions but she preferred to stay in Iraq to complete what she has started in her media coverage of the popular mobilization."

Mr. al-Khabbaz added: "The journalist Samira Mouaki is a true symbol of sacrifice and redemption, and has proven with her determination to overcome the obstacles and all what is said against her to be present in the frontlines of the battlefields, searching for the truth to highlight it to all those who cannot see it. So all thanks and appreciation to her and we have come today from the shrines of Imam Al-Hussayn and his brother Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) praying the Almighty for her the full recovery."

The journalist Samira Mouaki has praised this visit and thanked the delegation and asked it to convey the greetings to the sacred symbols of those sacred sites, promising the Almighty that she will remain steadfast and dreaming of the martyrdom for the sake of this proud homeland that is dreaming of love and peace.

It is to mention that the Algerian journalist Samira Mouaki was known by her daring, adventurous and dangerous television reports, which were great achievements, as she travelled to Iraq several months ago to cover Mosul battles, until she was shot in the head by an ISIL's sniper during her coverage of the liberation battled of Tal afar airport, she was transferred to the hospital, in which she has been given special care by neurological, eyes and hearing specialists, and God willing, she surpassed the danger phase.
