The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine launched its live broadcast of the events of the holy month of Ramadan for 12 hours daily.

Once again the servants of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) prove that determination and will can overcome difficulties and achieve what was impossible, as the staffs of the al-Kafeel Division for artistic production of the intellectual and cultural affairs department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine have been able to make possible the live broadcast of the events and activities held during the holy month of Ramadan with professionalism and success, in an experience that was preceded by many previous ones on various occasions, achieving the success for this live broadcast that is the result of SNG live broadcasting project from the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (Peace be upon him).

Mr. Bashir al-Tajer, Director of the Division has explained to al-Kafeel Network: "After opening the project of live broadcast and during the pilot period we were able to enter the movement of live broadcast, thanks to the transmission equipment and very sophisticated cameras provided by the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, in addition to strengthening our staff with additional working cadres to have a harmonized working cell. The holy month of Ramadan was the real test for this project and our technical staff, and thank God we have proven its success in this field and we were able to broadcast the live to channels with high quality image and high technical visibility without a logo (clean)."

And he added: "The broadcast is done through a number of fixed and mobile cameras, all of which are linked to a special sound and image system of satellite broadcasting. Our broadcast begins during the month of Ramadan at 5pm until dawn prayer, including the broadcast of the Quranic Khatmah, Dua Iftitah, religious lecture, Quranic competition for teams, Dua Abi Hamza al-Thamali, Sahar Duas and the Holy Quran. As for Thursday Dua Kumayl is added to the program, and on Friday the Friday sermon is added from the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him). Noting that there is many satellite channel from inside and outside Iraq that receive this broadcast daily."

Indicating: "This is the first time that the prayers of Maghreb, Isha and Sobh are broadcasted from the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)."

The project aims to broadcast all events at the holy shrine, such as: congregational prayers, worship acts, festivals, conferences, condolences' rituals and others, and to provide many satellite channel that are looking for hours of broadcast and have no staff to send to cover the activities of the holy shrine. The project's goal is to give the frequency of the holy shrine to broadcast all events without they send their staff and bearing their responsibilities in terms of housing, transportation and securing an accompanying person for them. And most importantly is to give the image that fit with the policy of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine without any kind of bias.
