Fatimi sadness banners are spread in the Holy Shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The walls of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and its corridors were covered in black to express the sorrow in the memory of the martyrdom of the lady Fatima Az-Zahra (peace be upon her) according to the first narration of her martyrdom, which is the (8th Rabi` Thani), where the banners on which the expressions of loyalty to the oppressed immaculate lady, as well as sad and sorrow phrases were hung.

As is customary, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine prepared a solemn program for this sad memory, which includes the following:

    • ü Holding annual condolences' council of the Sayed servants Division lasting for three days.

    • ü Holding a condolence council of the Women Rhetoric Division lasting for six days, with morning and evening sessions.

    • ü Holding the annual condolences' council for the servants of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), held by the general secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in its Honors hall.

It is noteworthy that the lovers and followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) remember all over the world the sad anniversary of the martyrdom of the beloved daughter of the Messenger of Allah; Lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her). There are multiple narrations about the history of her martyrdom and the location of her grave (peace be upon her), and this indicates her injustice and the extent of the oppression to which she was exposed, as she (peace be upon her) recommended her husband, the Commander of the Faithful Ali (peace be upon him), to hide the location of her grave and not let anyone who wronged her and usurped her right to assist to her funeral. Her age was then eighteen years old.
