The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announces its readiness for the holy month of Ramadan and prepares its special program.

The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has announced the completion of all preparation for the holy month of Ramadan, including a security and service plan for the visitors of the shrines of Aba Abdillah al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), in order to revive the holy month of Ramadan and to perform the rituals of the Ziyarat and prayer with ease, as the shrine is keen to provide the best services to the visitors who intend to receive the blessings of the holiness of these holy shrine in Karbala, and because the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) is the second shrine that attracts the visitors after his brother Aba Abdillah al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has prepared a special program for this holy month, including:

1- A Quranic Khatmah for the employees of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the visitors, held after the prayers of dohr and Asr in the holy sanctuary.

2- A central Quranic Khatmah with the participation of a group of international readers held daily in the afternoon, by reading one Juz' per day.

3- Reading Dua al-Iftitah every day, Dua Tawassul on Tuesday night and Dua Kumayl on Thursday night in the holy sanctuary.

4- A daily lecture delivered by sheikh Saheb al-Ta'i about several axes, most importantly the rules of fasting.

5- The participation and contribution in the tenth edition of the Central Annual Cultural Festival for the birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him) in Hillah city.

6- The establishment of a special program for the birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him).

7- Issuing weekly and monthly publications about this holy month.

8- The establishment of condolence program for the anniversary nights of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

9- The establishment of a special program to revive the blessed nights of destiny.

10- The establishment of groups' Quranic contest to be held on the evening of each day of the holy month.

11- The preparation of a set of special programs about the holy month of Ramadan to be broadcasted on the al-Kafeel Women Radio.

12- Delivering religious lectures through the Department of Religious Affairs, to be held on daily basis to answer the questions and queries of the visitors about the rules of the fasting.

13- Broadcasting the shrine's programs by providing a special frequency for the satellite TV channels.
