Commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him) in the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

Sadness overwhelmed the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ja'far as-Sadeq (peace be upon him), this sad occasion that befell on the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and their lovers on the 25th of Shawwal 1438 AH, when al-Mansoor al-'Abbassi has poisoned him using his governor on Madinah Mohamad Ibn Sulayman, and the Imam (peace be upon him) was martyred because of that poison.

On this occasion, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, like the other shrines and sanctuaries, was overwhelmed with sadness and sorrow and its black flags were put in all the walls of the sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and red lamps were lit as usual in commemoration of the martyrdom anniversaries of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).

The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, as usual in every year, has prepared a special program that includes many condolences activities, such as religious lectures, holding condolence Majlis for the commemoration of this occasion, in addition that it has announced its readiness to receive condolence processions from inside and outside the holy city of Karbala to present the condolences to Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them).
