Al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad launches its second phase of the Al-Ataa campaign to sterilize the neighborhoods of Karbala Governorate.

In continuation of its preventive campaign aimed at curbing the spread of the Corona virus and preventing it, the Abbas (peace be upon him) Fighting Squad (brigade / 26 popular mobilization), in cooperation with Khair al-Joud, launched its second phase of the Ataa campaign to sterilize the neighborhoods of Karbala Governorate, after completing its first phase yesterday.
This stage came within the major campaign of sterilization initiated by the Crisis Cell in the holy city of Karbala, on Monday morning (16th March 2020) and will continue for three days to sterilize its neighborhoods.
Mr. Maitham Al-Zaidi, the Squad's supervisor, explained to the al-Kafeel Network: "Our campaign is part of a series of measures we have taken to contribute to preventing and limiting the spread of Corona virus, as the Squad participated in the campaign launched by the province, which will include all of its neighborhoods, according to each administrative unit and within an action plan agreed upon with the crisis cell in the province. "
Stressing: "This work comes within the procedures and campaigns that the Squad will continue in cooperation with the civil defense in the holy city of Karbala at the request of the local government in it."
Al-Zaidi explained: "Our work was not limited to sterilization, but there was an educational aspect that included the distribution of folders for the residents of each neighborhood, which includes a definition of the virus, its methods of spread and how to prevent it."
