Closing the activities of the First Cultural Week Festival in Khuzestan

At the library of Ahwaz city – Iran, the activities of the First Cultural Week Festival held by the Secretariats-General of the Imam Hussein and El-Abbas holy shrines in cooperation with the Islamic Media Foundation have been closed on May 10, 2013.

El-Saffar, the head of the delegation of the El-Abbas holy shrine delivered a speech in which he mentioned the adherence to Ahlulbait (p.b.u.t) was the best path to live an honorable life complacently.

He also mentioned that, “As you know that Ahlulbait (p.b.u.t) used be treated agonizingly by the enemies. As we are Iraqis, we used be suffering from the X-regime, but Allah saved us from that unjust period, especially in 1991 when they attacked the holy shrines in Kerbala’ city, but the Supreme Religious Authority represented by the Grand Ayatollah Sayed Ali El-Sayestani took good care of it by reconstructing them; from that point, personnel of the holy shrines started sparing no efforts but to offer to rebuild the holy shrines.

A huge stage of reconstructions and achievements took place in the holy shrines and Kerbala city in order to serve the pilgrims of Imam Hussein and his brother El-Abbas (p.b.u.t).

Shaikh Mohsin El-Haidery, the representative of the people of Khuzestan thanked the Imam Hussein and El-Abbas foundations for the great and incomparable efforts they made and such an effect they left in Khuzestan people.
The head of the Islamic Media Foundation Mr. Mohammed Hussein Balak, also extended his deep thankfulness. The festival concluded by drawing lots by the delegation of the Imam Hussein and El-Abbas foundations, and the prizes were granting 65 persons of female and male to travel to the holy shrines in Kerbala’ holy city on the expense of the Imam Hussein holy shrine.
