A medical team specialized in Neurosurgery at Al Kafeel Specialized Hospital managed to treat a 30-year-old patient with weak limbs.
The hospital physician, Dr. Khaled Al-Sarraj, said: "A medical team headed by us succeeded in performing the lumbar spine fixation and implantation of artificial cartilages."
Noting: "The patient was suffering from severe herniated disc, with weakness in the lower limbs as a result of hernia and a retention in the urine flow."
He explained: "Al-Kafeel Hospital is distinguished by having very modern operation halls, which had a great role in encouraging us to carry out operations that were not easy to perform inside Iraq previously, as it provided a lot of facilities by providing more modern and advanced technologies."
