The completion of the second part of the Fifth Hayat Building project in Baghdad.

The Department of Maintenance and Engineering Construction in the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced the end of the works related to the second part of the Fifth Hayat Building project for treating people with Coronavirus in Baghdad, which has an area of ​​(1377) square meters and includes (56) single rooms, from the total area of ​​the project of (5000) square meters for (118) single rooms, in addition to more than twenty medical, administrative and service rooms.
The project was implemented as a gift for the Baghdad al-Rusafa Health Department within the vicinity of Ibn Al-Qaf Hospital affiliated to it, in support of its medical and nursing staff in confronting this epidemic, and in a way that contributes to increasing the hospital's clinical capacity.
This is what Karrar Barihi, engineer of the project, explained to the al-Kafeel Network, adding: “The works are proceeding according to what is planned, and our staff working in it are making an exceptional effort in order to complete this project, despite all the circumstances. The project is witnessing remarkable progress and an increase in its completion rates thanks to the unremitting efforts and working hours that exceeded (16) hours a day. "
He indicated: “The second part, like the previous one, was built with specifications compatible with the purpose for which this building was constructed, in terms of construction and foundations that match the recommended health specifications, in addition to the supporting systems in it that are an auxiliary and complementary part to the work of the medical staff, such as the two systems to push fresh air and dispose of pollutants, cooling, extinguishing and fire, in addition to the electrical, sanitation and other systems.
He explained: "The work of the project is continuing in all the rest of its parts, as the works of the third part of an area of ​​(1100) square meters and comprising (19) rooms have reached its end, and after only few days, the project will be completed as a whole. The outer fence of the building, which isolates it from what is adjacent to it and makes it private, has also been completed, and the remainder of the project area will be invested as green spaces and gardens, to bring the spirit of hope and optimism into the souls of the patients, in addition to the work of cladding the building from the outside and paving the corridors separating the three parts by muqarnas. "
