The start of the first phase of the rehabilitation of the gate of Imam Ali Al-Hadi (peace be upon him) from the inside.

The head of the engineering projects department at the al-Abbas's holy shrine, Eng. Dia Majid Al-Sayegh, announced the initiation of rehabilitation and design work for the Imam Ali Al-Hadi (peace be upon him) gate, located in the northeastern part of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) from the inside, in addition to connecting it with Its main entrance leading to it from the outside and making them one part, starting from the entrance and ending with the old door adjacent to the iwans of the Holy Shrine.
He added: "The first stage of work on this project was divided into these gates, so the starting point was from the gate of Imam Musa bin Jaafar (peace be upon him) on the northwestern side of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), to continue at this gate, and it will include preparation of the designs for each of the nine gates of the holy sanctuary, with an architectural and artistic design in harmony with its external entrance on the one hand and with the holy sanctuary on the other hand, starting with the quarrying of old building materials to be followed by the implementation of the project phases, according to each gate and the plan set for its development by the executing company, which is the Ard al-Quds Company for Construction Contracting."
