The sadness covering the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine is intensified with martyrdom anniversary of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household).

The sadness and grief over the al-Abbas’s (p) holy shrine, which signs appeared since the first of the month of Moharram, in commemoration of Ashura and the dire Taf tragedy, has reached its climax these days, with the martyrdom anniversary of the Holy Prophet, the Messenger of Mercy and the Intercessor of the nation; Mohammad son of Abdullah (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his family), who was sent by God Almighty as a savior for mankind, and chose him to be guidance, remembrance and light to convey the divine message. So the morning signs of this sad anniversary, which coincides with tomorrow 28th Safar 1442 AH, were spread all over the holy shrine.

The most prominent condolences' signs were at the qibla gate of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and the entrance to his holy Sanctuary, marking the beginning of the Mohammadian mourning season, in addition to other places inside and outside the holy shrine.

It is worth mentioning that the martyrdom of the Seal of Prophets and Messengers; Mohammad son of Abdullah (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) was on the 28th of Safar in the year 11 of the Hijra, he was then 63 years old. The lovers and followers are heading on this occasion to the shrine of the Dragonfly of Religion, the victorious lion of God; Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon him and his father) to extend their condolences to him for the martyrdom of his beloved brother and cousin; the Messenger of Mercy Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), and this is one of the specific Ziyarat of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him).
