A delegation from the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine visited the Wasit governorate and met with a number of its tribal leaders and notables, as part of the communication program prepared by the Holy Shrine aiming to strengthen the bonds of community communication.
The delegation was headed by Sayed. Adnan Al-Mousawi from the Department of Religious Affairs at the Holy Shrine, who explained to the Al-Kafeel network, saying: “The visit is part of the program for communicating with the Iraqi people of all sects and spectra. Our visit to this dear province was at first to offer condolences for the departure of the Emir of the Sari tribe, Sheikh Saad Al-Khayoun, who passed away as a result of his infection with the Corona pandemic. And we was received by his successor, Emir Sheikh Khaled Attar Faleh Al-Gassab, to who we conveyed the greetings and condolences of the Senior Officer of the Holy Shrine, His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, who prayed for the deceased with mercy, forgiveness and obtaining the intercession of the holy imams (peace be upon them). The relatives of the deceased appreciated the visit from the administration of the Holy Shrine."
Al-Mousawi added, "We also visited the office of the late Sayed Abdel-Adhim Al-Yasiri, where we met with Sayed. Kamel Abdel-Adhim Al-Yasiri. And then we visited the office of the Al-Zargan clan in Wasit Governorate, where we met a number of personalities and talked about a number of matters, including strengthening cooperation and the need to adhere to the legal boundaries with regard to blood money and other tribal norms, in order to match the religious instructions and directives in accordance with the Book of God and the Sunnah of His noble Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and his holy Household). We also visited one of the wounded in the popular mobilization."
The end of this tour, which was accompanied by the Supreme Religious Authority Commissioner, His Eminence Sheikh Mohammad Al-Zargani, and we had the honor to visit the shrine of the great companion Saeed Ibn Jubayr (may God be pleased with him) in the district.
