The Department of Islamic and Human Sciences Affairs participates with its heritage products in the Iraq Book Fair.

Within the participation of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine in the Iraq International Book Fair, the Department of Islamic and Human Sciences Affairs participated with a variety of its heritage publications, including encyclopedias, books, periodical magazines, as well as a group of artworks.

Mr. Ali Basem Al-Agabi, head of the Knowledge Media Division in the department, explained to Al-Kafeel Network, saying: “The Department of Islamic and Human Sciences Affairs is keen to participate in such intellectual and cultural exhibitions and gatherings that target society and develop awareness among people, specifically with regard to reviving the heritage of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and the heritage of the Islamic nation in general."

He added: “Our participation in the exhibition was effective and varied, as the number of publications that were displayed reached more than (150) publications, which varied between encyclopedias and various scientific and cultural magazines, including the Qur’an copy of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, heritage publications and manuscripts, including books and verified letters about Islamic heritage.".

Adding: "More than (20) paintings related to the arts of Arabic calligraphy and Islamic decoration were also displayed in the pavilion, which consisted of classic and modernist paintings. All what was presented show the size of the cultural movement and the scientific and intellectual renaissance that the department is working on, which was positively reflected in the displayed books and publications that were distinguished by the modernity and diversity."
