For the purpose of information and technical exchange: A delegation from the holy shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) visited a number of projects of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

A delegation from the Department of Agriculture and Livestock at the holy shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), conducted a field visit to a number of agricultural, animal and industrial projects of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, in order to closely examine the production processes and the modern mechanisms used to sustain these projects.

The guest delegation met those in charge of the projects and listened to a detailed explanation of the production processes, the modern technologies used in them, and the goals these projects have achieved in the interest of the Iraqi citizen and the local market.

About this visit, the head of the Agriculture and Livestock Department at the Imam Ali (p) holy shrine; Eng. Mustafa Mohamad Ali, said: “Our delegation included a number of people and unit officials in the department, in addition to a number of consultants specializing in animal and agricultural production. Our visit aims getting acquainted with the development taking place in these projects in terms of modern technologies used in production processes, whether related to irrigation methods, pivot sprinklers, feeding methods and others."

He added: "The visit included all of the farms of Khayrat Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him), the Saqi project, the Firdaws project, the Awali project, the quail bird project, the calf breeding project, in addition to the Khair Al-Joud Company and the Al-Kafeel Company for Public Investments."

He continued, "Through this visit, we seek an information and technical exchange between our cadres and those of these unique projects, in order to improve agricultural and animal production in a way that serves the country and the citizens."
