A delegation from the Al-Qamar Cultural Center of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine visited the Imam al-Kadhem (peace be upon him) college, in order to discuss opening channels for cultural and scientific communication and cooperation between the two sides, in order to serve the college students and benefit from the programs adopted by he Center.

The director of the Center, Sheikh Harith al-Dahi, explained to the al-Kafeel network that: “The visit falls within the program of the Center prepared for the governorate of Baghdad. There was a meeting that brought us together with Professor Dr. Mohamad al-Wadheh, the scientific assistant of the college, and a group of professors, heads of departments and members of the college council, with whom we discussed the mechanism and how to implement our programs in the college, which aim to contribute to educating young people and consolidating their educational assets with educational materials. A plan has been drawn up to initiate this work, which was welcomed and praised by the college officials."

For his part, Dr. Mohamad Al-Wadheh affirmed: “The College is looking forward, with its distinguished relations with the holy shrines, to more joint work opportunities, in order to reinforce an ideal reality that serves the groups benefiting from the expertise of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and its institutional centers in the scientific and cultural fields.

Among the priorities of our ambitions in bridging the relationship with the Holy Shrine is the organization of scientific conferences, workshops and seminars, as well as training for students of the college in Baghdad and other governorates within the institutions of the Holy Shrine according to the specialization of each department."

At the end of the meeting, the two parties called for intensifying efforts and implementation measures, to enter the stages of completion and implement what was agreed upon.
