Initiation of infrastructure work for the added space to the Al-Joud courtyard.

The cadres of the engineering maintenance and construction department at the al-Abbas's (peace be upon him) holy shrine began the infrastructure work for the spaces that were recently added to the Al-Joud courtyard located on the left side of Bab al-Qibla Street to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), which came after the completion of the demolition and removal of the buildings that were previously bought in the area between Al-Alawi Market Street and the al-Jomhouria Street.
According to the head of the construction works division in the aforementioned department, Engineer Mohamad Mustafa al-Taweel: “The work will include building an integrated infrastructure network (electricity - sewers - communications - cameras - drinking water), through service channels for each system separately, according to a plan that was set by the department and approved by the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine."
He added: "Infrastructure works are considered one of the most important works, so we take the necessary time for their installation because they are one of the basic components of this project that will be developed in the future, and once completed, we will proceed with the next step, which is preparing the ground for the cladding, and other works that will be carried out consecutively".
