A qualitative operation for a congenital hip dislocation at the al-Kafeel Hospital.

A medical team at the Al-Kafeel Specialized Hospital of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced its success in the operation to restore the hip dislocation to its normal place for a 6-year-old girl.
A specialist in orthopedics, fractures and joints at the hospital, Dr. Burayr Mohamad Ali Al-Asadi, said in an interview: "Our medical team has succeeded in restoring the congenital hip dislocation to its normal position for a 6-year-old girl," indicating that "the child suffered from congenital hip dislocation in the left side, causing it to be short in the limb. "
Dr. Al-Asadi added, "The operation included opening the hip and cutting the pelvic bone with cutting, shortening and rotating the thigh bone and stabilizing it by internal fixation," stressing that "the child recovered after the surgery in a standard period."
