A set of new carpets cover the floor of the sanctuary of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The cadres of the Care of the Holy Sanctuary Division have completed the furnishing of a new set of carpets for the Sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), in addition to cleaning, perfuming and sterilizing the floor and walls.

The head of the aforementioned division, Haj Nizar Ghani Khalil, told Al-Kafeel Network, saying: “After the completion of each Ziyarat season, we carry on some special works at the holy sanctuary, foremost of which is the replacement of the carpet set with a new one, as well as cleaning, sterilization and disinfection works including the holy grid. The staff of the Division of Sayed servants, the Department of the holy sanctuary, and some volunteers from the rest of the departments, participate in these works."

He added: "These works were carried out at night after the movement of visitors was interrupted, as the Holy Sanctuary was closed and we removed the old carpets, and then carried out washing works that included the floor and walls starting from the holy grid up to the golden Iwan, passing through the four corridors surrounding the holy grid ".

Ghani added, "The number of furnished carpets reached (255) carpets of various sizes and of luxurious quality with floral patterns commensurate with the sanctity of the place."

Noting that: "The work also included cleaning the holy grid using special materials that help maintain its luster, and then perfuming what surrounds it using high quality."
