The Holy Quran Women’s Institute reserves ten seats in the national Quranic competition.

Ten women Hafez [memorizing the Holy Quran] from the Holy Quran Women’s Institute of the Department of Islamic and Human Sciences Affairs in the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine have qualified for the National Quranic Competition sponsored by the directorates of education in Iraq.

The qualified students were prepared long ago by the administration of the institute, and they participated in the preliminary competition (for memorization and recitation) that was held in the province of Najaf, and they excelled in it.

According to the administrators of the Holy Quran Women's Institute, this qualification did not come out of nowhere. Rather, it was the result of a vigorous effort and continuous support by the head of the Department headed by the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, which drew the general lines of the Institute to overcome all difficulties and provided the means in order to educate women and make them armed by the Holy Quran. This qualification is evidence of that correct Quranic approach.

It is noteworthy that this is not the first time that the students of the Holy Quran Women’s Institute have obtained this rank. Rather, they had previous participations in which they obtained advanced ranks, and this indicates the correct approach taken by the institute and its administration.
