The meeting of the preparatory and scientific committees for the al-Ameed University International Conference for Medical Sciences.

The preparatory and scientific committees of the Second International Conference on Medical Sciences, which will be held under the slogan: (By scientific research, we rise to achieve a healthy and safe environment), met in at the Al-Ameed University of the Commission for Education and Higher Education at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine. The conference is to be held under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and in cooperation with Al-Kafeel University, Al-Kafeel Specialist Hospital, and the Malaysian UKM University, for the period from (1-2 September 2021).

The committees met to discuss scientific and preparatory matters related to the conference, and tasks were distributed between the members of the two committees to move forward for the success of the conference, and to achieve its desired goals in revitalizing the scientific research movement and raising the scientific level that serves the university and the country.

The meeting was chaired by the President of the University, Prof. Mu'ayyad Al-Ghazali, and was attended by all members of the committees, in addition to the university's president's assistants and deans of its faculties.

The scientific assistant to the president of the university, Prof. Maitham Al-Saadi, told Al-Kafeel Network, "This meeting is one of the periodic meetings, during which the preparations for the conference were discussed, which included agreement on a number of matters, including addressing the conference's themes and the scientific research participating in it within the agreed axes, as well as defining the scientific journals that will adopt the publication of participating scientific research in the main scientific themes, as well as recommending a number of other preparations, including technical and logistical matters that will be agreed upon in the upcoming meetings.

It is noteworthy that the conference is to be held to keep pace with scientific development, and to contribute to supplying scientific research with science and knowledge, by supplying researchers and their research products at a time when concerted scientific efforts were needed to stop the invasion of the Corona pandemic, as well as to simulate the developments of other medical sciences.
