The al-Abbas’s (p) holy shrine is covered with black on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Baqer (peace be upon him)

To commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Mohammad al-Baqer (peace be upon him), the holy shrine of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) has declared the state of mourning and sorrow, recalling the calamities that have befallen on the Imam al-Baqer (peace be upon him) since his birth until his martyrdom.

The walls of the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) were covered with black by the servants of the Department of shrine's care, who hung banners of holy narrations that recall this painful tragedy, black flags were raised and red lamps were lit to honor this painful occasion presenting the condolences to the Holy Prophet and to Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them.)

The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has prepared a condolences' program for the commemoration of this painful occasion, which included the establishment of Council of Condolences at night followed by elegies and lamentations.
