The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine establishes a water desalination plant in a school in Karbala.

The staff of the Engineering Maintenance and Construction Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has completed the installation of a water purification and desalination plant (R.O station) at al-Abbas (peace be upon him) vocational preparatory school, located in the Al-Samoud neighborhood in Karbala.

Head of the Maintenance and Engineering Construction Department, Engineer Samir, told Al-Kafeel Network: "The system was established at the request of the al-Abbas (peace be upon him) vocational preparatory school administration in the Al-Samoud neighborhood, to meet its needs of cold drinking water."

He added, "The system was built on an area of ​​(40) square meters, with a production capacity of (1,000 liters per hour) and storage of 10,000 liters," noting: "Four refrigerators were installed in the school for the purpose of cooling the water."

For its part, the administration of al-Abbas (peace be upon him) vocational preparatory school praised the efforts of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, represented by the Department of Engineering Maintenance and Construction to install the station, as the holy shrine always seeks to serve the people of Karbala.
