The "Haqeebat al-Mo'min" application - which is the most important application issued of the media department of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine - launched a package of updates that in line with the needs of the visitors of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) during the Ziyarat Arba'een.
The application’s programmer, Ali al-Jayashi, told Al-Kafeel Network: “Since the launch of the application in 2014, the team supervising it has worked to constantly update its content and technical matters in line with the development taking place in this field. These updates are part of the plan set for this application to always promote it and make it at the forefront of similar applications. And we started working on these new updates because of the important of Ziyarat Arba'een and in order to contribute to providing a good service to the visitor through his smart phone.
He added: "The new updates of the application were designed and programmed according to the latest technologies, and included:
- Pedometer: This update allows the visitor to count the number of steps he has taken in number and time, and thus giving him the possibility of dedicating a number of these steps as a gift for whoever he wishes to, in addition to the service of performing the steps on behalf of him.
- Visitor's Guide: It is an integrated guide to the Holy Karbala Governorate, and it is downloaded via (Google Maps) for the addresses and names of:
1- Important places.
2- Shrines and Maqams.
3- Hussayniyat and mosques.
5- The Hussayni service processions.
6- Service complexes.
7- Significant points.
- The text of Ziyarat Arba'een, which is the special Ziyarat of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) to be recited and performed on this occasion.

It is noteworthy that this application is one of the integrated Islamic applications. And according to the latest statistics, it has been able to take the lead in most applications like it, and this is a result of the studied plans and the approach followed in marketing its content, which was able to meet the needs of the largest possible number of Muslims scattered in all parts of the world.
