The head of the department, Haj Riyadh Ni'mah al-Salman, told Al-Kafeel Network: "After completing the entry and updating of all the data of the mourning and service processions that will participate in the Ziyarat Arba'een, which lasted for more than seven days, our staff began to determine the locations of the service processions in the holy province of Karbala, which will be honored to provide services during the Ziyarat period."
He added, "In order to continue the work, we developed a plan, the important part of which was to organize the processions during the mourning ceremonies, where a schedule was issued in which the timings of the descent of each procession according to each governorate, and the number of times allowed for each procession to descend to perform the ceremonies."
Al-Salman stated: “The departure time for each procession was also determined, and the starting point was from the platform located near the crosswalk of the Qibla street of the shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), then the entrance to the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine and then heading to the al-Abbas’s (p) holy shrine.”
And he concluded: "The paths that the processions will take, whether inside the two holy shrines or between the two shrines until they leave, have been determined. And groups of Department's staff and volunteers are being deployed to follow up on the progress of these procedures, and each procession moves according to set plan."
