The al-Abbas's (P) Holy Shrine participates in the security and service plan for the Ziyarat of Imam al-'Askari (peace be upon him) in Samarra.

The al-Abbas's (P) Holy Shrine used to participate annually in the security and service plan of commemorating the martyrdom of Imam al-Hasan al-'Askari (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him) in the holy city of Samarra, through a number of its service and organizational staff of the service affairs and maintaining order departments to provide services to visitors.

The Service Affairs Department sent a number of its employees to carry out several works that included campaigns for sterilization, cleaning and watering works, as a number of water-loaded pond vehicles (RO) and a number of waste presses and containers were sent to the Samarra,

As for the Department of Preservation of Order, it participated with a number of its employees in securing the Ziyarat, by spreading its members in coordination with the Samarra Holy Shrine and the security services at the entrances to the Holy Shrine and outside it, in order to carry out inspection work and organize the movement of visitors to ensure its smoothness and the absence of any defects.
