Deputy Secretary-General of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, Engineer Abbas Musa Ahmad, said: "Today we opened the project of the two Al-Ameed primary schools for boys and girls in Babylon Governorate, where each school contains (15) classrooms, in addition to laboratories, the central courtyard and gardens."
He added, "The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has been developing the educational reality in the country, by establishing kindergartens, schools and universities, and also by the excellent results of the students in the educational institutions affiliated with the shrine. And we wanted to transfer our educational experience to the province of Babylon."
The Deputy Secretary continued, "For nearly two years, the Department of Engineering Maintenance and Construction at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has been moving towards constructing buildings for a number of projects of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine. The department’s staff always fascinates us with what they accomplish, compared to the time period allotted for different projects.”
For his part, the member of the Board of Directors of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine; Dr. Abbas Rashid al-Mosawi: “After the Al-Ameed Group’s schools covered the geographical area of the city of Karbala, today we are moving to the province of Babylon, in support of this city, which was once a destination for science and scholars,” adding: "In recent years, the educational reality in the city was affected, and today we have come to develop the educational reality in the service of its children, as is the case with the province of Karbala."
It is worth noting that Al-Ameed Educational Group is affiliated with the Department of Education and Higher Education at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and it achieves impressive results every year through its outstanding students, and the group seeks to provide the most efficient teachers for them as well as the latest educational methods.
