The Courtyard Between the Two Holy Sanctuaries embraced a festive celebration on the birth anniversary of her father's mother; Lady Fatima (peace be upon her)

The Hussayni Rites and Processions Department in the two holy shrines held this evening, Monday (20 Jumada al-Thaniya 1443 AH) corresponding to (January 24, 2022), its annual central ceremony to celebrate the birth anniversary of the Lady of the Women of the Worlds Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her), in an atmosphere of joy and overwhelming happiness that pervaded the courtyard between the Two Holy Shrines.

The ceremony was attended by the Secretary-General of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, Sayed Mustafa Mortadha Dia' al-Din, a number of its board members and heads of departments, in addition to a delegation from the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) Holy Shrine, the governor of Karbala and a number of its officials, as well as a large number of visitors.

After reciting verses from the Holy Quran and reciting Surat Al-Fatihah in memory of the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, the speech of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine was delivered by the member of its board of directors, Professor Dr. Abbas Rashid al-Musawi, in which he stated: " The celebration of the birth anniversary of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her) receives great attention, because we are entrusted with this blessed and holy spot to salute the command of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), so that we may obtain their blessings and obtain God’s mercy and forgiveness. It is also a true translation of our belief in the message of the Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), and what the verses of God Almighty and Exalted have stipulated in his Noble Book (Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “I do not ask you for a reward for this ˹message˺—only honour for ˹our˺ kinship.”). By loving them, we obtain the blessings of God, the Exalted, and by means of which we fulfill the right of religion and achieve the reward of the message.

After that, a number of poets took to the stage of the ceremony to recite their poems which were about the love of the followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) to the Lady of the worlds’ women; Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her), and their attachment to her, following her path and the approach of her family, adhering to them and striving to revive their matter, and to bring joy to the heart of the Imam of the Time (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance).

Poets Najah al-‘Arsan, Nawfal al-Hamdani , Firas al-Asadi and Mustafa al-‘Issawi participated in this ceremony that was concluded with the songs of Radood and vocalist Mohamad Amir al-Tamimi.
