The two holy shrines hold a condolences' council for the religious authority, late Sheikh al-Safi al-Golpaygani

The two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) held this Sunday afternoon (4 Rajab 1443 AH) corresponding to (February 6, 2022), a condolences' council for the religious authority, late Sheikh Lotfollah al-Safi al-Golpaygani, who passes away last Tuesday).

The council was held in the square between the Two Holy Shrines, in the presence of a group of religious science students and community personalities, as well as officials and servants of the two holy shrines.

The religious authority, Sheikh al-Golpaygani passed away last Tuesday (28 Jumada al-Thaniya 1443 AH) corresponding to (February 1, 2022). Two solemn funerals were held for him in Najaf and Karbala, and his body was buried in the shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).For more details, please click here.

It is noteworthy that Sheikh al-Golpaygani is considered one of the most prominent religious authorities in the holy city of Qom, and has many books that enriched the scientific arena.
