Al-Abbas’s (p) Squad holds its sixth annual ceremony to commemorate the liberation of Bashir

The al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad held on Sunday evening its sixth annual ceremony in memory of the liberation of Kasbah al-Bashir.

The ceremony, which was held at the Hall of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader Laith al-Obeidi, followed by a speech by the commander of the Al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad, Mr. Maitham al-Zaidi.

Then came the speech of the agent of supreme religious authority in Kirkuk, Mr. Qanbar al-Moussawi.

The ceremony included the presentation of a documentary film that reviewed the epics of the heroes of the fatwa of sufficient Jihad in the liberation of this Kasbah.

The ceremony included also the presentation of poems by the poet Najah al-Arsan who presented a poem of vertical poetry, and the poet Mohammed al-Fatimi presented a poem of popular poetry, and both were in tribute to the martyrs of the Blessed fatwa.
