Renovating, Strengthening, & Gilding the Front Entry (Iwan) of the El-Abbas Sanctuary

One of the most important projects that are being achieved to the El-Abbas Holy Shrine is renovating, strengthening, and gilding
the main entry (Iwan) of the El-Abbas Holy Shrine. Such a project was found very important to strengthen even the ceiling in order to last longer.

The implementing entity is Ardhul Quds Company, which has been operating in Kerbala for a long time reconstructing the Imam Hussein and the El-Abbas Holy Shrines.

A specific type of gold and a specific type ornamentation have been chosen in the project. The golden bricks, type 24 Karat, will cover 350 square meters.
