A Condolence march organized by the Religious Affairs Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Lady az- Zahra (peace be upon her) toured the streets of the city of al-Sada, northeast of Mosul.
Sheikh Haydar al-'Aredhi, head of the Department's Guidance and Support Division, said: "the march witnessed the participation of the people of the city from various religious and ethnic sects, in addition to the people of the cities and villages adjacent to them, and our presence was to participate and share the sorrows of lovers and followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in these areas."
"By doing so, they are recalling the martyrdom anniversary of the beloved daughter of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household); Lady az-Zahra (Allah's prayers be upon her), and this event is held as part of activities and events that lasted for more than four days in this city and other cities," he added.
He pointed out that "large number of people from the city and neighboring areas came to participate in this march, while chanting elegies and shedding expressing their sorrows on this sad occasion".
