The people of Karbala organize a United Condolence Procession on the martyrdom anniversary of the Immaculate Lady Fatima (peace be upon her)

The people of Karbala organized a United Condolence Procession to extend condolences to the Commander of the Faithful; Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib, on the martyrdom anniversary of the immaculate lady Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon them).

The head of the Rituals Department of the Holy Shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them); Sayed Aqeel al-Yaseri, said, "the procession of the people of the holy city of Karbala commemorated the martyrdom anniversary of Lady az-Zahra (peace be upon her), in the sanctuary of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him) in the holy city of Najaf.

He added that "the Condolence procession is an annual tradition used to be held by the people of the holy city of Karbala, in cooperation with the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them), as well as the general secretariat of the Imam Ali's (p) holy shrine, to commemorate the occasions of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them)".

According to al-Yaseri, the procession consists of an elite group of processions and hussayni bodies in the holy city of Karbala, in addition to mourners from the people of the province.
