The Department of Service Affairs continues the work of perpetuating the Hindiya River

The Service Affairs Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, represented by the Al-Kafeel Nurseries Group, continued the work of maintaining the Hindiya River in the city of Karbala.

Hussein Amin, said that "the daily work we are doing to maintain the Hindiya River in the holy city of Karbala, is cleaning it from the inside and outside with the uprooting and throwing dirt out of the riverbed, with a staff specialized in pruning trees periodically".

"As part of the series of works completed to perpetuate the river, our staffs have also made a concrete quarry on the river, in addition to covering the inside and sides with Muqarnas tiles, planting evergreen trees around it, in addition to making a modern lighting network,"he added.

Amin pointed out that" the department is the body that rehabilitated the river, and is now responsible for its continuous maintenance, "pointing out that"these works are added to the series of activities of the Al-Abbas's (P) holy shrine, to show the holy city of Karbala in the best possible way."
