Religious Affairs Department holds a condolence Council on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Kadhem (peace be upon him) in Sinjar

The Department of Religious Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held a condolence Council in the Sinjar district of Nineveh Governorate on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Kadhem (peace be upon him).

The council was organized by the religious guidance and moral support division of the Department.

"Based on the directives of the general secretariat of the holy shrine, we have been participating along with the believers inside and outside the holy city of Karbala, the commemoration of the sorrows of the imams of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them),"said the division official, Sheikh Haydar al-'Aredhi.

"We organized a condolence Council in Sinjar district in Nineveh Governorate, at the Cultural Center for guidance and development, and in cooperation with the rituals unit, during which we touched upon the life of Imam Al-Kadhem (peace be upon him) and his role in preserving the school of the holy imams (peace be upon them)."

According to al-'Aredhi, the council will last for three days, during which he will include, among other things, religious and cultural lectures, and the Zinjeel mourning processions's march in the District.
