Engineering Maintenance Department: we added new cooling systems for the new expansion sites

The Engineering Maintenance and Construction Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced the addition of new cooling systems to the newly developed expansion sites, namely the basements of imam al-Hussayn and Imam al-Jawad (peace be upon them).

Engineer Amir Mohammed from the Cooling Division of the Department said: "We have added new cooling systems for the newly developed expansion sites, as the system was provided with fresh chilled air fans with a capacity of (40 thousand cfm) for each site, as the air inside the basement is treated as a closed space."

He added that "the process of air intake and recycling properly needs a special intake system, and we did this by installing an air intake system with the same capacity of the fans (40 thousand cfm)".

According to Mohammed, "the control of cooling systems in terms of temperature and humidity is carried out through a system that is accurately and directly connected to the central computer".
