The researcher, engineer Tariq Sahib al-Ghanemi from the Media Department at the Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine, participated in the fourth International Istanbul Scientific Conference on Humanities and Social Sciences.
The conference is held by Istanbul Gedik and Harran state universities under the auspices of the Rimar Research Academy.
"The conference was held with international participation from Europe, Asia, Africa and America, and dealt with several research events and workshops," al-Ghanemi said.
He added that his participation "came with a research paper that included one of the 17 themes of the conference on Crisis Management, entitled: (The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine and its role in risks and crises -the Covid19 crisis as an example-), during which we highlighted the most important achievements of the Holy Shrine during the corona pandemic, in health, social, economic, humanitarian, cultural and other fields".
After the end of the conference, al-Ghaenmi received five important awards, namely the Innovation and Excellence Shield Award at the conference, after choosing his research among the top 10 papers as an integrated idea, out of 123 participating papers within the research standards, a certificate in English for the best presentation during the conference, a certificate of appreciation from Istanbul University certified by the Turkish Ministry of Higher Education, a gold medal for participation in the conference, a letter of thanks and appreciation from Istanbul New and Harran universities, and the Rimar Research Academy, known to the academic community in Turkey.
It is to note that the Istanbul International Conference on Humanities and Social Sciences was attended by 123 researchers from 19 countries, and aims to enrich knowledge and develop research and academic reality, to reach scientific and practical outputs that benefit humanity.
