The Unified procession of the people of Karbala commemorates the martyrdom anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him)

The people of Karbala walked on a unified condolence procession in Najaf, to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of the Commander of the Faithful; Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib(peace be upon him).

The procession started in coordination with the Department of Hussayni Rituals, Processions and Bodies in Iraq and the Islamic world, pf the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them).

The procession of the people of the holy city of Karbala commemorated the sad occasion, in the Holy Shrine of the Commander of the Faithful : Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib(peace be upon him), with cheers of sadness and condolences.

The condolence procession is an annual tradition used to be held by the people of the holy city of Karbala, in cooperation with the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them), to commemorate the occasions of Ahl Al-Bayt(peace be upon them).

The procession consists of elite of the hussayni processions and bodies in the holy city of Karbala, in addition to mourners from the people of the province.
