The A-Abbas' (p) Shrine holds an iftar banquet for a number of martyrs ' families in Karbala

The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine held an iftar banquet for a number of families of martyrs of the security forces in Karbala governorate, which included more than 400 individuals.

This activity was supervised by the Public Relations Department represented by the Internal Relations and Coordination Division.

"The Public Relations Department held an iftar banquet for more than 400 members of the families of the martyrs of the security forces from the Ain Al-Tamr district in Karbala governorate, where the banquet was held in the basement of Imam Hassan (peace be upon him) at the Holy Shrine,"said Rasul al-Ta'i, one of the Division's staff.

He added that "the Department has prepared an integrated program to host families, including the Ziyarat of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and providing an iftar meal for the families of the martyrs of the security forces, in cooperation with the Host Restaurant Department at the holy shrine, indicating that this activity comes within the annual program of the Relations Department to receive delegations".

For his part, the coordinator of the human rights delegation, Mahfoudh al-Tamimi, explained that"the event came in compliance with the directives of the Senior Official of the holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, on the need to take care of the families of the martyrs of the security forces and extend a hand to help them in various fields, because the martyrs sacrificed their lives to redeem the homeland and the holy shrines.
