The Department of Intellectual Affairs continues the (reporting caravan) program in Africa

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine continues the (missionary caravan) program in a number of African countries.

The department, through the Center for African Studies, is working on implementing a number of fiqh and doctrinal courses in the state of Nigeria, and reviving religious events with preaching and guidance councils there.

The director of the Center for African Studies, Sheikh Saad Sattar al-Shammari, said that "the reporting convoy in the state of Nigeria, established under the supervision and implementation of the Center's director; Mohammed Abdullah al-Tayeb, is interested in spreading the thought and science of Ahl al-Bayt(peace be upon them) in various cities of the country, and the convoy's activities were attended by followers and lovers of Ahl al-Bayt(peace be upon them) there".

He stressed that the programs are continuing at the intellectual, religious and humanitarian levels, pointing out that "al-Tayeb held a lecture for the youth entitled (The role of Science in human life), in which he explained the importance of Science from the perspective of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and the narrations that emphasized the demand for science and the effort to achieve this."
