The Division of Childhood and youth at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine holds a session for the leaders of Scout camps..

The Division of Childhood and youth affiliate to the department of intellectual and cultural affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held the session of "the hero of Al-'Alqmi" to prepare coaches for the Scout camps that are set up by the Division for the students of primary and middle schools that belong to the education Directorate of the holy city of Karbala, which will start later on this week.

Professor Kamal Basha; the responsible of the Division of childhood and youth explained to the Al-Kafeel Network: "As a result of what was achieved earlier by the Scout camps that were set up by our Division in previous years, and in order to develop these camps and expand their usefulness, development cycles were opened to prepare instructors who supervise the subscribed students in these camps in cooperation with the employees of the Division, as they were selected from the outstanding students who have participated in previous camps, and who have a strong and influencing personality."

Adding: "The curriculum of this session which will last for six days, contains many of the educational, ideological and cultural programs, in three phases that will enable the graduated student to be a leader of the students' group."

It is noteworthy that the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine holds and sponsors many intellectual, cultural programs within and outside the holy shrine, including the Scout camps that serve students, in order to contribute to the consolidation and entrenchment of the principles of the Islamic religion and its teachings in accordance with the approach and behaviour of the Prophet and his holy household (peace be upon them), in addition to rooting of patriotism and citizenship and elaborating it in their behaviour and their public lives.
