An Iraqi medical team at Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital in Karbala has successfully operated on a child suffering from brain atrophy that caused him problems walking.
A specialist in orthopedics and traumatology at the hospital; Dr. Burayr al-Asadi, said that"the patient is a 7-year-old child was suffering from brain atrophy that caused him to have short lower limb tendons, difficulty in walking and movement."
"The operation was performed on the patient with high precision and was crowned with success, after which the child regained normal limb movement,"he added.
Al-Asadi stressed that"this success was achieved thanks to the experience of the Iraqi medical team and the capabilities, technologies and modern medical devices possessed by Al-Kafeel hospital".
