The Department of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine launches the first annual contest of the auspicious Eid Al-Ghadeer..

The Department of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine announced the launch of an intellectual contest under the name: "The first annual contest of the auspicious Eid Al-Ghadeer" in collaboration with the public library of Ammar Ibn Yasser and exclusively for the people of the province of Baghdad, this contest aims to:

1- To urge the community to read the Islamic history books and understand the virtues of the blessed day of Al-Ghadeer;
2- To view what was written by the scientific figures about this day;
3- To keep the community updated about the virtues of Al-Ghadeer Day and its recommended acts;
4- To prove the eligibility of the Commander of the Faithful; Imam Ali Ibnu Abi Talib (peace be upon them);
5- To urge the community and especially the youth to commemorate the important Islamic occasions;
6- To illustrate the virtue of this day, which is the greatest Eid of God.

The contest conditions are:
1- The contest is exclusively for the people of Baghdad city;
2- The answer must be on the original attached coupon, which may not be reproduced, otherwise the answer will be neglected;
3- Filling the complete information on the coupon without leaving any field;
4- Only the answers coupon that must be delivered;
5- If the number of winners exceed the scheduled, a lottery will be conducted on the 25th of Dhu Al-Hijjah, 1435 AH in the public library of Ammar Ibn Yasser in Oor neighbourhood, Baghdad city;
6- The latest day of answers delivery is the 20th of Dhou Al-Hijjah, 1435 AH;
7- The winners names will be announced on the 25th of Dhu Al-Hijjah, 1435 AH along with the distribution of the prizes.

The winners' prizes will be allocated as follow:
* The first and second winners:Umrah to the Holy House;
* From the third to the seventh winners: Zyarat to the shrine of Imam Ar-Reda (peace be upon him);
* From the eighth to the fifteenth: Courses of important books;
* From the sixteenth to the twenty-fifth: Different Electronic Devices.

The contest coupons along with the answers will be received in:
1- Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine / Department of intellectual and cultural affairs;
2- Public library of Ammar Ibn Yasser in Oor neighbourhood, Baghdad city.
