Khair Al-Joud company: the success of the experiment of growing cherry tomatoes by the internationally approved hydroponic method

Khair Al-Joud company for modern industrial and agricultural technology at the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced the success of the experiment of growing cherry tomatoes by the internationally approved hydroponic method, achieving high productivity.

Falah al-fatli, consulting engineer at the company, said that "the company adopted the cultivation of cherry tomatoes for reasons, including their high price in the local markets and their high productivity".

He added,"in the cultivation of cherry tomatoes, we relied on hydroponics (floating) approved globally for many reasons, including rationing in the use of water sources, in addition to the exploitation of land that is not suitable for agriculture, or unsuitable for any crop due to the high degree of salinity of the Earth".

"We adopt local methods in the process of designing aquaculture ponds, by building water molds with block material and covering them with plastic to contain water without leakage, equipping plants with dissolved oxygen gas and giving nutrients manufactured in the company, as well as solutions to obtain high productivity and a healthy plant free of Chemicals, Fertilizers and chemical pesticides ."
